Early 20th Century Balmoral Boots

Bespoke pair of men's Balmoral boots with a stacked leather heel. The boots have decorative black patent leather shaped cut-outs. These are stitched over a tan leather underlay and cream patterned leather underlay with a diamond effect.The boots each have a pull-on fabric tab. The boots are unworn and still contain their original lasts. These were most likely specially produced for a trade exhibition. Made by A. E. Marlow for the Saxonia brand in Northampton. Early 20th century.
