East choir, unfinished tympanum of the Naumburg Master

With the representation of the Lamb of God with the cross staff surrounded by tendrils of the tree of life, beginning 13th century, peculiarities:
- Lamb: most frequent symbol of God
- Tree of life: special form of the motif tree (e.g. “tree of life”), here an independent motif of salvation
- one of the best sculptures from the late Romanesque period in this region
