East India Company flintlock pistol in 15 bore (0.665”)

Marked with *RW, the EIC bale mark and ‘Wilson’ on the lockplate, this was a standard issue close-quarters weapon for East India Company army and navy units. Richard Wilson as a company was in production from the early 1730s to 1832.
