Lace sample

Productions of the Robert West company are characterised by the diversity and the originality of the designs reproduced in lace with great finesse. These ships, of which a slight variant is reproduced by Henri Hénon in his work "L'industrie des tulles et dentelles mécaniques" (Tulles and mechanical lace industry) (1900) are referred to as the "caravels of Christopher Columbus".
