Price was born in West Virginia but had family roots in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. As a member of the Philadelphia Ten, she organized exhibits and participated in solo and group shows in many galleries throughout New York, Washington, and Philadelphia. She spent the earliest years as an artist in New York City, but soon returned to New Hope, Pennsylvania to live with her brother. She is best known for her floral still life paintings which often incorporate gold and silver leaf.
