For this work, very representative, like Academia, 1933-34, and Woman of the Mirror, 1934, of the last nudes with a classicist tendency made by Gargallo, as personal and unitary in the conceptual as they are refined and even austere - without detracting from their exceptional beauty - in the formal aspects, the author drew two preliminary sketches or studies, front and back, which he would later follow closely, except for a slight change in the position of the arms. The second of them belongs to the collections of the Pablo Gargallo Museum.
