Pig City: Brisbane’s Historical Soundtrack was a one-day music festival held as part of the Queensland Music Festival in 2007, and inspired by Andrew Stafford’s book about Brisbane - Pig City: From The Saints To Savage Garden. The event was held at the University of Queensland, and performers included The Saints, Regurgitator, the Riptides, Kev Carmody, Screamfeeder, Ups & Downs, The Apartments, Pineapples from the Dawn of Time, Kate Miller-Heidke, and the Brisbane Excelsior Band. The founding members of influential Brisbane punk band the Saints – Chris Bailey, Ed Kuepper and Ivor Hay - reunited just for the event after a 28-year gap. In May 2001, the Australasian Performing Right Association (APRA) had named Saints song ‘(I'm) Stranded’ in its Top 30 Australian songs of all time.
