Robert 'Bob' Horne is an Australian artist who lives and works in regional Victoria, Australia. This bush study was painted in the early 1980s near Springvale in the eastern part of Melbourne and it won the acquisitive prize at the Golden Wattle Art Competition held by Rotary in Maryborough in 1983. Horne has also created a major mural which celebrates 100 years of fire fighting in the Boardroom of the Melbourne Fire Services Museum.
