A souvenir gold medal commissioned by Sir Augustus Prevost, who was Governor of the Bank of England from 1901-1903. This medal was one of many that were presented to members of the 25th Middlesex (Bank of England) Volunteer Rifle Corps. The medal shows Edward VII and Alexandra on the front, and a helmeted Britannia with a spear in her left hand and an olive branch in her right on the back. The back of the medal also has an inscription.
