Eisa dress

Grey and green printed silk dress, with full skirt. The dress is probably designed by Balenciaga, and bought from the Madrid boutique which was called Eisa. The dress style matched other Eisa labelled dresses from American socialite and philanthropist Anne Bullitt's wardrobe and dates from the time she was living in Madrid.

Anne Bulitt (1924–2007) was known for her love of fashion, and had favourite designers who she bought from again and again. This summer dress which is made of silk was probably bought from Balenciaga’s Boutique in Madrid. The full pleated skirt helps to exaggerate the extremes of her corseted waist.
