El Santo

I grew up with lucha libre and standouts like El Santo and Blue Demon, so that was the inspiration for these monoprints for Self Help Graphics & Art. In doing these type of prints, I try to use simple images because you only have 15 minutes to create the monoprint and they can get muddy. To avoid this issue, you have to simplify the image with a minimal color palette. If I had more time I'd use more complex images, because anything goes.
