One toy reviewer noted of the EyeClops that it is "so gross and so cool." The EyeClops magnifies objects 200 times and, via a USB connection to the television, displays the magnified image on a TV screen. The manufacturer boasts that EyeClops brings high-end technology and fun to the toy aisle. The maker's Web site offers magnified images of salt, a sponge, a tennis shoe, a hair, a flower, and a patch of skin. These images and ones kids find for themselves will surely enthrall those of an age to love everything gross. Best not mention to kids having so much fun with the EyeClops that they are getting a hands-on introduction to biology and the sciences too.
