Electrotherapy device at high voltage and low frequency

The device, produced by the company Fabbrica Dr. Luigi Martigoni in Genoa, was used for electrotherapytreatments by using high-voltage and low-frequency currents.It consists by acurrent transformer and two glass dialsto measurevolts and Ampères.It lacks of the original electrodes that were made of plates of thick metal covered by leather bearings or a sponge material soaked in a saline solution.
