The sketches for it originate from the painter Neo Rauch, a representative of the so-called “Leipzig School”. Neo Rauch created them in 2007, the year of St. Elisabeth's 800th birthday. His designs were realized by Martina and Lutz Gärlich from Domglas Naumburg. If you look at the windows, it is best to place yourself a little to the side so that they appear evenly in the light.
