Banner, green cotton sateen ground, all edges trimmed with narrow green silk wrapped cord, appliquéd letters and numbers 'ELIZABETH BLACKWELL MD 1849' in cream synthetic sateen, appliquéd cup motif in yellow twill weave cotton lame outlined with metal braid, lined with plain weave cotton, mirror image of text 'WOMEN'S SUFFRAGE' on reverse, seven brass self-fastening pins with attached rings along top edge for hanging, green silk wrapped cord with green wool tassels on each end threaded through the rings.
