Elvi 660 flame photometric detector

The flame photometric detector (commonly called F.P.D.) is used in gas-chromatography to reveal compounds containing sodium and potassium. A photomultiplier tube measures, through a graduated scale from 1 to 100, the percentage of photons that pass trough the lens (which is part of the device).
