Veronika says: "The subjects in this paining are both mental health nurses and it was only thanks to one of their colleagues who helped me through a difficult time that I was able to attempt this - my first portrait in oils and my first attempt at painting using oils since I was fourteen. It was therefore an absolute privilege to give something back as the work they do is so vital and life-saving. The opportunity to take part in this incredible initiative has rekindled my confidence and passion for painting in an extraordinary way.
