This manchu jacket is tiny stand collar, front opening, wide sleeves, with traditional Chinese frog decoration and five pieces of gilt bronze buttons with flower patterns. Ladies, children playing, traditional pavilions, exotic trees, Taihu stones and briges are embroidered inside the dark green and creamy color mixed satin fabric, which suggests a wealthy, peaceful scene. The manchu jacket is originally a Manchu garment style for horse riding. It also can be found in Zhao Yi's "Gai Yu Cong Test" in Qing dynasty about this style. After mid-Qing dynasty, Manchu jacket became Qing manchu people's casual “Yan Ju" jacket. The ladies style is round collar, there is stand round collar, the length is down to hips, with open design, the sleeves is down to elbows with complicated decorations. The ladies manchu jacket is very gorgeous and complicated, the fabric production process is extremely refined and sophisticated, it is one of the most unique style in casual outfits. It is often worn outside the casual robes for its warmth and wear off convenience.
