"Tekkima" (Emerge) is a ceramic sculpture made with stoneware and wool. "Tekkima" in Estonian means "emerge" or "come into being." It is a work about transition and becoming.
The exterior appears shell-like and protective and the interior red represents intensity, natural violence, and radical change. It hints at being in flux; it does not know what it was or what it will become. All that is known is that it is in the process of becoming.
