Sesto al Reghena, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy

Giovanni Morassutti was a prominent engineer and architect from the Morassutti family, known for his ability to blend technical rigor with aesthetic vision. He played a key role in the modernization of Northeastern Italy, applying modernism to the design of both commercial and residential structures. His contribution was fundamental not only to private construction but also in supporting the technical evolution of the family business.
He was also distinguished by his profound generosity: following the bombings of World War II, he designed and built the Church of San Leopoldo Mandic in Padua (where the saint used to hear confessions) free of charge, thereby contributing to the spiritual and architectural rebirth of the community.
