English Piano Espineta

Mahogany and rosewood, this specimen is mounted on six legs with metal casters. In the strip just below the instrument, at the head of each leg, there is a bronze square with rosettes, which on the sides show the Imperial Crown topping the P. I (D. Pedro I) insignia, which is presumed to belong to the Emperor. The piece is part of the MCB Collection.
