Ensemble comprising two blouses and skirt in navy wool. A: Wrap top in reversed jersey; fitted; hip-length; tapered shawl collar, deep surplice neckline; short raglan sleeves; wrap closure with self-ties cut-in-one, tying at center back waist. B: Pullover blouse in reversed wool jersey; fitted, princess style; hip-length; deep U-neckline; 3/4-length fitted sleeves. C: Skirt in native-woven Mexican wool rebozo with thick vertical ribs, horiztonal turquoise stripes and horizontal bands of bright hand-embroidered silk flowers and stylized animals on turquoise ground outlined in orange and purple stripes; gathered, straight; full-length; black grosgrain ribbon waistband; proper left side zipper closure; attached black China silk underskirt. Labels, A and B: Barbara Barondess Maclean Exclusively For. MacLean made the skirt in compliance with regulation L-85.
