Entrance portal of Cecilienhof Palace with the flags of the Allies

The flags of the three Allies flew above the main entrance to Cecilienhof Palace throughout the entire conference. For reasons of protocol, the position of the flags was changed daily. This meant that each country had the place of honour in the middle. (Matthias Simmich)
