The National Museum of Computing is home to the world's largest collection of working historic computers. It houses a plethora of iconic and revolutionary machines from Computing history, from the world's first entirely digital semi-programmable computer (Colossus), the world's oldest working First Generation computer (the WITCH) to the world's first practical general purpose computer (EDSAC) among many others. The Museum, which is an independent charity, strives to bring to life the history and ongoing development of Computing for the inspiration, research, learning and enjoyment of the general public and specialist audiences alike.
