Entrence of The National Monument

Visitors to the monument are able to enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the park and the fountain as they walk along the Plaza of the Northern Medan Merdeka Square. A short distance from the statue of Prince Diponegoro, down a few steps and crossing over the tunnel directly beneath Jalan Silang MONAS, visitors will find themselves in the grounds of the National Monument. The grounds are surrounded by iron fence that resembles rows of bamboo spears.
