In the centre of the stone epitaph, Christ on the cross is depicted against the background of the city of Jerusalem. The Virgin Mary and John the Apostle are standing at the foot of the cross. To the right of Christ, the male members of the von der Busch family are kneeling in prayer, and to the left of Christ are the female members. The scene is framed by the sun and the moon against clouds. Three faces of angels are depicted on the upper cornice. On the upper part, crowning the epitaph, there is a tablet bearing a text from the Gospel of John (Jn 3: 16), together with reliefs depicting two virtues, Faith and Hope. The coats-of-arms of the von der Busch family are located on the lower cornice, and tablets with the dates of death of the deceased are on the bottom part of the epitaph.
