Pair of men's espadrilles from Ansó (Huesca) dating from between the late decades of the 19th century and the early decades of the 20th century.
Designed for everyday use, they have a woven, straw sole. The heel and toepiece are made of the same material. There are several black cotton ribbons attached to the toepiece. These tie behind the heel to hold the shoe on the foot.
