    Colonial Secretary. The Governor approves of Block No.11 as a site for a Post Office. No.40/46 Colonial Secretary's Office Sydney 27th February 1840. Sir, With reference to your letter of the 24th ultimo No. 40/39, I have the honor to inform you that His Excellency the Governor approves of the corner and reserved allotment in Block No,11 at Melbourne being appropriated as the site for a Post Office as suggested by you, and recommended by the Deputy Surveyor General.
