The urn was found in 1721 near Chiusi. On the lid is represented a recumbent figure, dressed in a tunic, with a garland around his neck and a diadem on his head. A scene of combat is depicted on the case. An inscription giving the full name of the deceased is painted on the moulding. The bright polychromy of the work is probably authentic.
