'Every Man His Own Gardener' with Gardener's Calendar

'Every Man His Own Gardener' with Gardener's Calendar was first published by John Abercrombie in 1767 with the co-author stated as Thomas Mawe. Abercrombie was born the son of a Scottish market gardener, although is seen here in gentleman's attire on the frontispiece to the 16th edition in 1800. So popular was this book, that it went into numerous editions over the following 100 years.
