In 1980, Evonne Goolagong not only won her final Grand Slam at Wimbledon, but this upset against Chris Evert was the first time a tie-breaker had decided the tournament. Holding the trophy after her 6-1, 7-6(4) victory, Goolagong was also the first mother to win the title since Dorthea Douglass Chambers in 1914.
