The title of the first ballet that Judith Marcuse created for the junior company of the Nederlands Dans Theater almost perfectly covers the subject: we see a sequence of transfers from one movement into another, from youthful abundance and disco like dance movements, to a dreamy and more serious atmosphere.
The music that accompanies these transfers is electronic, shocking, strong, and rhythmic. Monotone but obsessing and addictive for the ear and the body. This transfers into the romantic violin music of Giovanni Battista Pergolesi.
