The fate of the family of seven from Ternopol – the parents, four sons and a daughter. In 1940, Czesław and his brothers tried to escape to the Polish Army in the west, but were caught at the Hungarian border. The four brothers were imprisoned then deported to a labor camp in Siberia. After the "amnesty" declared in 1941, Czesław reached Anders Army, and was sent to England for appropriate training, in order to join the Air Force. On 8 January 1945, he was assigned to Bomber Squadron 300 "Mazovian Land" in Faldingworth. After the war, moved with his brothers to Argentina. In 1956, he decided to go to Poland, in view of his mother and his fiancée, Kazimiera, living there.
