Shot in the Ideal Palace, Robert Doisneau's black and white photos taken in the 1950s, and the color photos taken in the 1970s, pay a touching tribute to the generations of visitors who have come to discover and admire the Ideal Palace since its opening to the public, which was planned by Postman Cheval himself in 1905. These images, rediscovered during the 2020 national lockdown, join the sculptures of Simone Fattal, and create a reflection of time and memory, in regard to Postman Cheval's work.
