The photographs offer a new interpretation of Postman Cheval's Ideal Palace, presented through Robert Doisneau's viewfinder, both as an architectural icon, and as a place that has garnered public admiration over the decades. Through these snapshots, we can trace back over the genealogy of the Palace, through its evolutions and restorations.
