The present work is part of the series titled Exodus, created in 2016. It consists of 14 pieces measuring 100 x 100 cm, made with mixed media on acrylic glass. The experimentation with pigments of different origins—animal, vegetal, and artificial—turns this work into a bridge that connects the dark with a variety of green-blue and white-dark streaks, casting reflections on the acrylic surface and causing the red to sink into the mystical depths of each painting. In this way, a sense of movement expands throughout each piece, encompassing its entirety. Like all works by the artist Fred Friedrich, it carries the implicit characteristic of being created in unison, while each one still contains its own personal mark within its genre.
