Expulsion of the Jews from Spain (1492)

Painted in 1889 by Emilio Sala in his studio of Rochechouart Street in Paris. The title of the work alludes to the decisive moment in which the taking of the transcendental decision, reflected in the Edict of Expulsion published on March 31, 1492, takes place in the spirit of the Catholic Kings.
