Extract from the harp ledgers of the Erard company

In 1994 the RCM Museum was able to purchasethe harp ledgers of the Erard company thanks to a series of generous donations. The stock books cover the period from c.1798 to 1917, and detail a total of 6,862 harp sales. The earlier entries are brief but later entries contain detailed information on instrumental developments and the international locations of their purchasers.
