What if the eyeballs fall? Human beings naturally observe the world from their own body perspective. Once the eyeball “falls off” from the body, become an offline organ. It rolls to the distance, falls from the sky, and sinks to the bottom of the sea. It might also be carried away by pets or flushed into the toilet. These unusual views come from new perspectives of the animals, falling off, or sewage, etc., all of which have refreshed our understanding of viewing, and that is the meaning of the offline eyeball.
This is one of the series work “Organ Project.” The artificial eyeball is made based on the Wi-Fi gene techniques and 3D printing. The audience wears a specific designed visual device, with a pair of video glasses embedded inside. The artificial eyeball- a round Wi-Fi video camera captures images, and this “eyeball” falls off every 30 seconds to the offline status.
