These materials were produced in the first half of the 20th century. Women in those days used eyebrow pencils, eyebrow powder made from burnt cork, and eyebrow powder sheets, which were pressed powder on sheets. In the Edo Period when eyebrow pencil and powder were not sold, women used powder made by rubbing rotten ears of wheat or soot from lamps.
