Caption on the back reads: ‘Potatoes are converted into flour for reads, meal for cattle cake; chips and glucose. By a special process potatoes can be kept in stories as flour or meal for at least 10 years. The factory is run in conjunction with food defence plans dept. of the Board of Trade’.
