100 - AND MORE TO COME
July 17th 1966 PAP 123526-1 (PNR-G)
Worried about Britain's export situation? Here's a picture that lifts a corner of the cloud.
In front of an impressive production line of the
planes, the 100th HS 125 business jet takes pride of place at the Hawker Siddeley Aviation plant at Chester.
The plane, capable of 500 mph, is just off the line and is being prepared for delivery to an American customer.
Interior furnishings are being provided by one of Hawker Siddeley's North American distributors, Atlantic Aviation Sales Corporation.
In front of the aircraft are representatives of the makers and of the three North American distributors.
To date, 108 of the business jets have been sold and other contracts are being negotiated.
