Fan with blonde tortoiseshell sticks and guards with applied goldwork including a white guilloché enamel medallion with Cyrillic initials 'AB' on one guard; signed by Fabergé work master M. Perchin.
The leaf is made of white 'point de gaze' lace.
This fan was probably made in France, shipped to the Fabergé workshops in St. Petersburg so that the work to the guard could be completed.
