Quadrangular fabric panel with multiple superimposed layers on which an image has been created through cut-out: it represents a fantastic zoomorphic figure, crested and winged, against a burgundy background filled with geometric patterns. Once on the tourist market, this fabric created for women’s traditional clothing is used as a decorative element for walls, because of the beauty of its colours and the peculiarity of its production technique. The traditional technique requires overlapping layers of cotton of different colours; the drawing is obtained by cutting until the layer of the desired colour is reached; the different layers are kept together by simple stitches and embroidery.
