Fair Oaks Pharmacy and Soda Fountain

A restored, 1915 pharmacy with a lunch counter still operates in the heart of South Pasadena. Around 1989, while looking to replace the building’s soda fountain (removed in the 1960s), then-owners the Millers found one and brought it in - from another pharmacy on Route 66 in Joplin, Missouri! Today, the nostalgic soda fountain serves treats like ice cream sodas and malts.
