FAL Kestrel Amplifier – Leeds made Transistor Amplifier.

Made in Leeds by Futuristic Aids Limited in the 1970’s out of British components. The kind of amp most working man’s clubs and small music venues would use for visiting and local bands to plug into. Very much the sound of the British “pub Rock” scene of the 70’s and early 80’s.

Hard-wired mains plug and transistor based pre and power amp. A proper spring reverb and clunky switches. Rated at 100 watts RMS @ 8ohms. This one is just a head, but the amp was also available as a combo with speakers.
