Family Register Document

This is a document issued by a government office in 1849 about the family register of Yi Seon-ik in Yeoju as per his request. The content includes the social status of the family, matters concerning the family members, servant owned by family, etc. Such document was issued when there was a lawsuit, when the new family registration was required, when applying for a state exam, or when it was necessary to identify a runaway servant.
