Fan made of kid leather with the front painted with a central vignette of Diana's Bath. This is flanked by a densely painted ground of pink roses and tulips with blue green foliage, and couched silver gilt thread edges the vignette. The thread is stitched in a foliage design among the flowers. There has been a gilt stencilled design at the borders but this has now worn. On the reverse is a stencilled all over pattern of formal red and blue tulips with a linking gilt foliage trail. The top border is of pink leather.

The sticks are of ivory, solid but with a serpentine edge. The guards have a pattern of incised diagonal lines. The pin is brass and there is a silver wire filigree washer.
