Hand-painted folding fan of mother-of-pearl and paper; gilding at top edge of pleated paper leaf ; paper leaf hand-painted over stenciled work of multi-colored Renaissance revivalist outdoor scene; sixteen carved and pierced mother-of-pearl sticks; sticks create one scene of man and woman surrounded by nature motifs; metal rivet with mother-of-pearl bolts; country-side scene at back of paper leaf.
