The invisible air is the core element that sustains our lives on the earth. Meanwhile, there is the visible air that we can discern with visual perception. It creates emotions and aura. These emotions produce words from another dimension that we can’t fully explain by our reasoning. The visible air sometimes gives comfort and consolation to people. Sometimes, it expresses anger generated by suppressed feelings. The two types of air created by two artworks for this exhibition are antipodal in their characteristics. Emotions generated from the two types of air also head for the two different directions. I hope the air, which will disperse and disappear after reaching a certain physical distance, can create verbal and non-verbal signified in this space and they could be wholly delivered to the viewers.
